Join us as we study the books of Genesis and James Registration is now open for our upcoming class starting September 9, 2026.
Anyone who wants to know how the Bible relates to their life today will find a home at CBS. You'll meet new friends who will join you in learning more about who God is. And all of this happens in a welcoming and caring community.
Everyone is welcome... no previous Bible study experience necessary!
About our 2026-2027 study:
Genesis (chapters 1-22)
In this course, which covers the first 22 chapters of Genesis, participants will see that God created a beautiful world and gave people a noble calling in His creation. It explains how our world was fractured by human rebellion and presents the beginnings of God's plan to put everything back together.
James
The epistle James is one of the most practical books in the Bible. This course's lessons encourage each class member to lead a more consistent, caring Christian life and to explore the practical application of faith in family and society.

What to expect: You will receive a comprehensive workbook that includes inspiring commentary and thought-provoking questions for individual study. Each week, you will engage in encouraging small group discussions and listen to effective teaching. You will also be part of a caring community where you can build lasting relationships.

Children's NextGen Program is In Person and concurrent with the 9:15am-11:15am class.
Nursery (Birth to 2 years)
Preschool (2 years to Kindergarten)
Registration Fee: $40 Adults | $10 per child (scholarship assistance available). Members receive a course book with home study questions and commentary.

Next Gen Ministry
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. Our offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, starting with babies, and going through Kindergarten.
